Go Fishing

Lake Del Valle is a spectacular fishing spot in the Tri-Valley Area. This expansive lake is full of trout, catfish, bass, panfish, and more. Cast your line, and spend a day in the great outdoors. Fishing at Lake Del Valle is truly one of the best ways to relax and enjoy Livermore’s natural beauty.

Spend a Day on the Water

Boating on Lake Del Valle is another wonderful way to pass the afternoon. Launch fees are only $5 per day for a trailered boat, $3 per day for a car-top, and $2 per day for windsurf and paddle boards.

If you’re traveling into the area without your own watercraft, no problem! Motorboats, patio boats, pedal boats, and canoes are available for rent on the East Beach marina area. Kayak rentals are also available at the Kayak Center on the east beach.

The Del Valle Visitor Center provides an extra incentive to visit the park. Here, you can find numerous exhibits and information about the natural history of Del Valle and surrounding wilderness.
