How it All Got Started
Leisure Street Winery got started over a causal dinner conversation back in 2016. Rick and Kelly Volpatti were at dinner with Mark Clarin, a musician and winemaker at another Livermore winery, McGrail Vineyards. With the help of Clarin and others in the industry, like the folks at 3 Steves, the Volpattis decided to open their own vineyard on Tesla Road.
Since 2016, Leisure Street has represented Livermore’s wine scene alongside the best. Yelp! reviewers call it a “hidden gem” and rave about the friendly service as well about how delicious and reasonably priced the wine and food are.
How & When You Can Visit
During the week, Leisure Street’s business hours are as follows:
- Monday through Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These hours make the winery the perfect spot for an afternoon of sipping after a long week! Some weekends, the winery even hosts even in its tasting room. Some recent ones include the Annual Paella Party and Harvest Under the Moon, both with live music and food vendors.
