Do you accept Spa Finders or Spa Week?

Currently, we are unable to accept Spa Finders or Spa Week gift cards.

How do I schedule my spa treatment?

Click here to book your spa treatment online, or contact the spa for reservations or questions, waitlist is available and recommended. Currently, the spa is in high demand. Please plan accordingly.

How far in advance should I book my spa treatment?

We highly recommend that guests and clients book their spa reservations as far in advance as possible to ensure the availability of services. Our current availability is two months in advance. If you want to look at something further out please contact spa@purpleorchid.com.

Spa Groups

Currently, we are allowing groups to book at the spa. We do take a limited number of groups each day to ensure the best possible guest experience possible for everyone. Please visit our spa group page for more information and to complete an inquiry form.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may determine the length of your treatment, as your service will end as scheduled so that the next guest may begin on time.

What Spa amenities are included?

Each spa guest will have access to trails through the olive orchard, lockers, changing rooms, restroom and a shower. Each spa guest may relax on property before or after their service based on hotel event schedule to order food and beverage from the hotel.

Do you have food and beverages available for sale?

Food and beverage is available for purchase between the hours of 11am-3pm. The hotel offers a seasonal limited menu with snacks, lunch items, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

Complimentary beverages are available in the hotel rotating between coffee, hot tea and fruit infused water.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes, our spa is for adults 18 years of age and older. Guests 18 years of age and older may receive all treatments offered. Guests 13-17 years of age may receive facial treatments. Children and guests without spa appointments are not permitted in the spa.

Should I leave a gratuity?

In appreciation of exceptional service, gratuities are welcomed and may be given at your discretion, and should reflect your satisfaction with our services. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa groups.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

No, our spa is a smoke-free environment.

What about cell phones or other electronic devices?

Please refrain from bringing any type of disruptive electronic devices such as cell phones and laptops into the spa sanctuary. The Purple Orchid does not allow any filming or recording in the treatment rooms or changing rooms. The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa is not responsible for lost items.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations, changes or rescheduling must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged a 50% fee. Missed appointments/no shows will be charged 50% of all reserved treatments.

Please reschedule/cancel your reservation prior to the 24 hour window to avoid charges. Please call our spa at 925-606-8855 to cancel.

Do you offer refunds on your spa products?

Yes, we will refund any product within 15 days of purchase. Products must be unopened/unused and in original packaging. We will make exchanges for products that have been opened/used within 15 days of purchase. Additional charges may apply to the exchange.

Series Questions

Who can use a series?

Series are non-interchangeable between customers and are intended for one guest to use for multiple visits to The Purple Orchid Spa.

Is there an expiration date for the series?

Yes, the discounted value for the service purchased does expire one year from the date of purchase. However, the dollar value will always be available to use towards any purchase.

What are the benefits of massage therapy?

Massage therapy has been around for hundreds of years, and the benefits are countless. Below are a few common benefits that the majority of guests may experience:

Our Spa Group Policies

Arrival Time

Final Payment

We require one person to be responsible for the entire group's bill. We can create separate bills for food, beverages, and products purchased by individuals.

Sales Tax and Service Charge: There is a 20% gratuity added to all spa treatments, add-ons, and cabana/resort fees. Additionally, we charge a sales tax of 10.25% and optional gratuity for all food and beverages.

Cancellation

If, for any reason, you need to cancel, we require SEVEN days for group appointments. Please be aware that your group's main contact will be responsible for no-shows or late cancellation payments. We will charge the credit card on file for late cancellations, no-shows, or any remaining bills due after your departure.

A $50 deposit is REQUIRED to start the booking process for your group spa package.
