Take a Stroll Downtown
With our temperate California weather, there\’s never a bad time to walk around Downtown Pleasanton! The quaint shops and adorable storefronts are just the start of all the unique treasures you will find. There is so much history and art and fantastic places to eat, all in one place! We really love picking up a cup of coffee to go from one of the local coffee shops downtown and just wandering around, soaking up the sights.
Breathe in the Fresh Air at Pleasanton Ridge
If hiking, horse-back riding or biking is up your alley, be sure to schedule in time to see Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park! Visiting this beautiful park is one of the most stunning things to do in Pleasanton, CA. There are more than 5,200 acres of oak-covered ridge that overlook Pleasanton and the Livermore Valley from the west! Spending a day out in the gorgeous scenery is always a day well spent.
Hang Out at First Wednesdays
Every first Wednesday night from May to August, Downtown Pleasanton puts on an incredible block party! A whole section of street is blocked off and food trucks, music, artists and more entertainment is brought in. Come, grab some food and wander around, enjoying the warm summer night and the music! Wednesday Street Parties are completely free (except for any food or art purchases you might make!) and you can even bring your four-legged friends.
