Livermore Hotel
Yes, our beautiful Livermore hotel is called the Purple Orchid Inn Resort and Spa and like a Purple Orchid its exotic, sensuous, sought after and breathtakingly beautiful. Purple also might remind our guests of wine, because we’re also a resort and spa that’s right in the middle of California’s Livermore Wine Country. To prove it, we have a wine and cheese reception every evening.
Of course, that’s not all we have. Set on 21 acres, the Purple Orchard Inn has the look and intimacy of a log cabin, but with 10 guest rooms and suites, six spa treatment rooms and even a couples massage room which many of the brides and grooms who’ve been married on the premises have taken advantage of. Our Livermore hotel’s deluxe and private suites have cable TV and VCRs and DVDs as well as sumptuous fabrics, including thirsty, fluffy bath towels. Most of the rooms have fireplaces to keep our guests warm on those coolish nights that are so necessary for the grapes to make some of the best wines in the country.
Our spa service is second to none. Among the soothing and invigorating massages we offer are the Purple Orchid Signature Swedish Massage, which is ideal for guests who might be a bit nervous about massage and are experiencing one for the first time. We also have Deep Tissue Massage for our more athletic guests, or guests who have physical conditions where such a massage would be beneficial. We also offer a hand and foot massage as well as a chair massage, and best of all, our Purple Orchid Inn Signature Stone Therapy. This is where warm and cold stones are placed on strategic points of the body to bring deep relaxation and healing.
The Purple Orchid Inn also has delectable skin care treatments, including vitalizing facials and microdermabrasion offered by professionals who are well trained in this technique. Body care involves our own Serenity Salt Glow, an exfoliation treatment which rids the skin of old, dead skin using oil and salt from the Dead Sea. We also offer a luxurious herbal wrap. It’s ideal just before any of our massage therapies.
For people who’d like to travel around and see the sights, we offer our guests VIP access to the surrounding golf clubs and wineries, though they shouldn’t forget that we have our own wine and cheese tasting in the evenings!
